Don't forget to read Part I! I'm still using the smaller images in the interest of bandwidth, you can view the full size versions by clicking on each image.

Several of us boarded a second, emptier bus on Bathurst, including the camera crew, which is perhaps why people were asking us what we were up to. Including this woman, who as it turns out was also a knitter. It never fails, we always end up seeing knitters in the wild...

We proceeded down to wait for the 511 streetcar, where I was again mocked for shooting from various levels.

Finally it arrived and we boarded, much to the annoyance of the biggest asshole TTC driver we had all day (most were unfailingly nice) who bitched that we weren't boarding quickly enough, and again that we weren't de-boarding quickly enough. We felt terrible that we were requiring him to do his job, but I suspect that wouldn't have mattered to him...

This shot really captures the blazingly sunny weather we enjoyed for the entire day, as we walked from Bathurst along Nassau over to Lettuce Knit for our next stop.

Where naturally, we all settled in to relax, shop and get a bit of knitting done. There were homemade blondies, and wicked good sales courtesy of Denny & Megan respectively. I was sorely tempted by some deeply discounted Mission Falls but confined myself to only buying a few new books instead.

From Lettuce, we all wandered away to have lunch at the various options in Kensington Market. We hit King's for some veggie chinese, and I opted for the apple/carrot/ginger "health drink" instead, as I was feeling a bit queasy.
Jacquie showed off her one yarn purchase of the day, 2 lovely skeins of Koigu (mmmm Koigu). And angels sang.

I used this opportunity to also photograph the wiggle scarf I'd been working on (thats STR & Koigu in the Chevron Scarf pattern from
Last Minute Knitted Gifts, if you're interested).

Following lunch it was back to Lettuce to meet up with team North, and learn that
Aleta here has become a hardened criminal. See that ball of yarn she's brandishing? That is stolen goods my friend! Check out her blog for the details, and keep your hands on your wallet when you see her coming ;)

After leaving Lettuce,
Joyce wanted to go to Mokuba for some ribbon to edge her beautiful sea-wool baby blanket with. We escaped after buying only 3.5 metres of single-face satin ribbon, and I came away with a new respect for ribbon as an extremely pricey luxury item. Yowza!

Next stop: Americo! Home of walls of luscious imported fibres, and a jumbo ballwinder that I WANT.

It was also home to some very comfy, deep leather chairs. We took advantage, obviously, of a bit of sit time.

And of course, Americo has a nice big selection of non-wool fibres. I LOVE this photo of
Amy, I feel like it is both a wonderful portrait of a person who really truly loves fibre, and also a wonderful representation of why we all do this, anyways.

Post-Americo, we all coalesced at the 2nd cup across the street before heading out to catch the Queen car, and East.
Stay tuned! The end of the story is coming up soon!
